The following values form the basis of my work
-
Trust is the foundation. The people who come to me can trust me completely. If they succeed, they have laid a wonderful foundation. They know how this feeling feels. This is where we pick up and find out what they need to trust themselves in exactly the same way. Then it's about learning to trust other people, and finally, my clients can learn to trust in life!
-
We are all human beings with our strengths and weaknesses. No matter where my clients are when they come to me, my top priority is to treat them as equals. None of us is better or worse than anyone else, regardless of what we have experienced! We are all human beings. That is the starting point for every conversation.
-
There is never a solution that suits everyone and works for everyone. We have all grown up differently, been shaped differently, and been equipped differently by life. Therefore, there is no "one size fits all" solution. Every person is an expert on themselves! As a "subject matter expert," I am happy to share my knowledge, experience, and perspective, but all of my suggestions feel differently appropriate to different clients. That's why it's extremely important to me that my clients only take away the things that really feel right for them.
-
Sometimes we forget that we are not just bodies. And not just psyche. And not just spirit. We are so much more complex than we realize. Using various approaches, from family constellations to visualizations, meditations, hypnotherapy, working with your inner child, and many other tools, it is important to me to do justice to this holistic approach. I also want you to recognize yourself as a spiritual being and thus your true core. This is how transformation happens on all levels.
My career
2005 - Youth
By the age of 16, I had already experienced bullying on several occasions and was able to protect my self-esteem thanks to my great-uncle, who worked as a psychotherapist using hypnosis. Even then, I felt that I too wanted to help and support people during times when they feel alone.
2008 - Emigration
After graduating from high school, I moved to Switzerland to study. Today, I know that nothing better could have happened to me, even though I had to face one of my greatest fears—homesickness and the fear of being alone.
2011 - Bachelor's degree
With my bachelor's degree, I had achieved a major personal milestone and learned that it is much easier to persevere with difficult things when you have a vision behind them. My purpose behind it became increasingly clear!
2013 - Master's degree
After completing my master's degree in my specialization area of "clinical psychology and health psychology," I packed up my things in Switzerland and went traveling. Little did I know that I would eventually settle down in Switzerland.
2014 - Australia
During my studies, I saved up a considerable amount of money by doing lots of part-time jobs, which enabled me to fulfill my biggest dream of traveling through Australia. In addition to fulfilling my big dream, I also faced many of my fears. I deliberately wanted to experience what it means to overcome your fears, because I wanted to learn to understand my future clients better. I wanted to know what it's like to face your fears.
2015 - Depression
After months of traveling, I started working as a therapist in a practice. However, the working conditions and my superiors did not suit me at all. But I didn't dare to quit during my first year of employment (you just don't do that). So life took its toll and I ended up in a severe depressive phase where nothing worked anymore.
2018 - Continuing education
After six months on sick leave and with tremendous support from my continuing education group, I started a new job in 2016 and completed my continuing education as a systemic solution-focused therapist in January 2018.
2019 - Maternity
In 2018, I changed jobs again: I worked as a child and adolescent therapist at a pediatric practice. After the birth of my son in 2019, I decided to start my own business so I could divide my time between family and work as I saw fit. This allows me to spend a lot of time with my two children. I support them in a way that is tailored to their needs and appropriate for their age.
Now - Therapy and Coaching
I now have my own practice, provide therapy, coach, organize workshops, produce online courses, and host retreats. I have complete freedom over my schedule and am happier than ever before. Anxiety and depression are behind me. I have created the life I want for myself and my children. I have experienced firsthand what it’s like to struggle in life, and I’ve realized what it takes to break free from that. You can benefit from this experience and all my knowledge. Since I know from a psychological perspective just how much childhood influences the rest of our lives, it’s a matter close to my heart to support children and families in laying a healthy and stable foundation!
